Shane was co-founder of ICON Business Group, a leading private venture capital organisation founded in Newcastle in 2006 before founding company Learning Cloud Australia, Learning Cloud New Zealand and Learning Cloud Ireland in 2013.

Carlyle holds a Bachelor of Commerce and has more than 10 years’ experience in in the provision of financial accounting. Carlyle is also a staff-member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Carlyle will be instrumental in the groups global finance and accounting strategies as well as accounting automation and best business practice

Tracy Dyer

Originally from sunny Florida, USA, Tracy immigrated to Australia ten years ago. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Florida and a Double Master’s Degree in Education and Science. Her family in America live on a large farm and own a stud and grooming business. Since moving to Australia, she has taught in the Catholic School system for eight years and tutored for online courses for seven years. Her husband is an Arborist and together they have two little girls, ages 2 and 1.

    Aaron Clarey received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with High Honors from the University of Minnesota. Since 1998, Aaron has been teaching a wide array of classes on finance and investing, including How to Invest Online, Figuring Out Your 401k, The Analysis and Valuation of Stocks, and Stocks, Bonds, and Investing; Oh My! His classes take the fear out of finance and investing by making personal financial management easy and understandable for everyone. During the day, Aaron works as a banking analyst. At night, he moonlights as a ballroom dance instructor. In the summer, he is an avid amateur paleontologist, hosting The Great Twin Cities Fossil Hunt for children. He is also the author of the popular book, Behind the Housing Crash—Confessions of an Insider and Worthless - The Young Person's Indispensable Guide to Choosing the Right Major.

    Alan Simpson

    With over 100 published books to his name, award-winning author Alan Simpson is widely regarded as a computer and Internet guru. His books have been published throughout the world in over a dozen languages. Alan is a seasoned veteran of the computer industry, and his books and online courses cover virtually all aspects of the computer industry, including Web development, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, programming, networking, and security.

    Allen Taylor

    Allen G. Taylor is a 30-year veteran of the computer industry and the author of 28 computer-related books, including "Crystal Reports 2008 For Dummies," "Database Development For Dummies" and "SQL For Dummies." He has been teaching computer courses for over ten years.

    Amy Page

    Amy Page has been a translator and technical writer since the early '90s. She has a Bachelor's Degree in French, and she is one of a handful people in the United States who completed a special Translation minor. Amy has written and copy edited for large companies, and she enjoys translating for a variety of customers.

    Ann Linquist

    Ann Linquist is a popular continuing education instructor on college campuses, at corporations, and with non-profit organizations. She has helped thousands of adults learn to tackle their writing tasks with enthusiasm. Having written everything from novels to newsletters, articles to ad copy, and poetry to proposals, Linquist is able to address the writing needs of each individual. The breadth of her background ensures a powerful, involving learning experience that builds on the strengths of each participant.

    Ann Nevers

    With a law degree and masters in health law, Ann Nevers is involved in dispute resolution in areas of business, employment, and health care. She regularly teaches courses in business law, employment law, dispute resolution, and health care. She has published a number of academic articles, edited legal manuals, and written chapters on employment, dispute resolution, and health care topics. She has industry experience as a director of a regional corporation.

    Anni Stipek

    Anni Stipek graduated from University of Puget Sound with a bachelor's degree in  Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. She has over 20 years experience in the classroom ranging from teaching kindergarten to high school math intervention courses, as well as five years as a math consultant and presenter for Staff Development for Educators. She has written and facilitates other online courses, including The Foundations of Singapore Math Model Drawing Grades 1-6 and The Foundations of Singapore Math Number Sense/Computation Strategies Grades 1-6. Anni's passion is to share with as many educators the pedagogy and methods that The Singapore Ministry of Education promotes to their teachers and students so we can help our student's master mathematics as they do in Singapore.

    Barbara Clemens

    Barbara Clemens has been a software product manager, editor, writer, and teacher since 1984. She has worked with educational publishers Addison-Wesley and Course Technology to create software textbooks for colleges and universities. She has edited, revised, and written many Microsoft Office texts and has co-authored two textbooks on new versions of Office: Upgrading to Microsoft Office 2007 and Upgrading to Microsoft Office 2010. She holds a B.A. in English, an M.A. in English as a Second Language, and a Masters in Business Administration. She has worked as a university English instructor, computer trainer, and consultant, and is known for teaching computer software using careful, clear, and understandable instructions.

    Barbara Rolston

    Barbara Rolston holds a master's degree and has been teaching GED® preparatory classes since 1975 in a variety of settings, including adult schools, community colleges, and large corporations. She also was responsible for administering the GED® exam in a correctional facility for two years.

    Becky and Tony Swaim

    Becky and Tony Swaim have helped thousands of clients, colleagues, and students reach organizational and personal goals. Working in the medical, manufacturing and education fields, the Swaims manage a successful consulting firm in southern California. Starting her career as a medical administrative assistant, Becky provides assistance as a program manager to various medical practices and has managed a large staff in the medical reimbursement field. Becky earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Speech Communication from California State University, Long Beach. Tony Swaim has been an accomplished online instructor since 1998. His industry experience includes twenty years of medical device manufacturing management. Tony's consulting areas are project management, customer service, total quality and supply chain management. He earned an MBA from California State University, Long Beach and holds professional certifications in five disciplines.

    Ben Sellers

    Ben Sellers has more than 17 years of experience in teaching at all levels from elementary classes to college mathematics and statistics courses.  He has taught college students, working professionals, adult learners, high school students, and homeschoolers, both online and in the traditional classroom. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in the mathematical sciences and has been a mathematical and statistical consultant in industry and in education. 


    Benjamin Gialloreto

    Benjamin N. Gialloreto graduated from Drexel University (BS, Computer Science) and Loyola (New Orleans) School of Law.  He has been practicing law since 1990 and is a former Deputy City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia Major Trials and Civil Rights Units.  He is currently Independent Counsel to the School Reform Commission in the Philadelphia School District and is a partner in the Philadelphia-based law firm Gallagher & Rowan, P.C.  

    Professor Gialloreto has been proctoring this GMAT preparation course since July 1999 and has helped more than 6,000 GMAT test takers over the years.  He also teaches online Paralegal Certificate courses for the Center for Legal Studies in Golden, Colorado.  He conducted Civil Rights Seminars at the Philadelphia Police Academy and Philadelphia Prison Academy as part of recruit training and annual education for Police and Prison Supervisors. Finally, Professor Gialloreto proctors our test prep course for the LSAT, SAT, and ACT, and has assisted with the GRE test prep courses.

     

    Beverly Browning

    Dr. Beverly A. Browning has been consulting in the areas of grant writing, contract bid responses, and organizational development for nearly three decades. Her clients have included chambers of commerce, faith-based organizations, units of local and county municipal governments, state and federal government agencies, school districts and colleges, social and human service agencies, hospitals, fire departments, service associations, and Fortune 500 corporations. Dr. Browning has assisted clients and workshop participants throughout the United States in receiving awards of more than $200 million. Dr. Browning is the author of over two dozen grants-related publications, including Grant Writing For Dummies, Grant Writing for Educators, How to Become a Grant Writing Consultant, Faith-Based Grants:

    Aligning Your Church to Receive Abundance, and Perfect Phrases for Writing Grant Proposals. She holds degrees in Organizational Development, Public Administration, and Business Administration. Dr. Browning is a grant writing course developer and online facilitator for Ed2Go.com; faculty member at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management and a current member of the American Association of Grant Professionals.

    Beverly Richards Schulz

    Beverly Richards Schulz is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and an award-winning photographer. She has been teaching photography for more than 15 years. Since her first class with ed2go in 2000, she has written more than 30 online classes in digital photography and digital editing, and she's had the privilege of working with more than 60,000 students. She has a BA in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley, and a master's degree in Adult and Continuing Education. 

    An avid digital film photographer, she was an early adopter of digital technology and now teaches digital editing and photography skills to students from around the world. For the last 10 years, she has enjoyed being an adjunct faculty member with the University of San Francisco, teaching history and visual arts, and she has continued to expand her experience in travel photography and cross-cultural studies. In addition to teaching and photographic work, Beverly and her staff provide consulting services for digital photographers and clients.

    Beverly Smith

    Dr. Beverly Smith is a Doctor of Optometry and has been in private practice for over 24 years. She is the founder of a consulting firm that helps new practitioners start and manage their own eye care practices. Beverly holds an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management, and she has published articles in the professional journals, New O.D. and Women in Optometry. She has taught dozens of optical staff over the past 24 years, many of whom went on to become licensed opticians, certified paraoptometrics, and Doctors of Optometry.

    Bill Mann

    Bill Mann has been writing about software and the Internet for over 15 years and has relied on Microsoft Outlook to keep him organized and on track since it first became available. He is the author of more than 15 books, including two about Outlook: How to Do Everything with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and How to Do Everything with Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. He has led online courses on Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, and 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester.

    Bo Morton and Janet Levine

    The two instructors for this class have over 20 years of experience in grant writing.

    Janet Levine has been involved with grant writing and fund raising since 1988. In 2007, after almost 20 years "in the trenches"  Janet started her consulting company, Janet Levine Consulting, to help nonprofits increase their fundraising capacity.  Just before starting her consulting company, Janet was the Vice President for University Advancement at a public, urban university. She has been a fundraiser and administrator at a number of colleges, universities and other non-profit organizations. In addition to her work experience, Levine has her Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a B.A. from Hofstra University. She writes about issues affecting nonprofits and fundraising in her blog, Too Busy To Fundraise, and regularly teaches workshops on fundraising and board development.  Janet is a frequent presenter at professional conferences. 

    Bo Morton has spent over 15 years as a grants development practitioner. For more than a decade she was a full-time Director of Grants Development and Management at  a community college where she was responsible for developing and submitting grant proposals for various college programs and for assisting faculty and staff with project development, proposal writing, budget development as well as with managing their grants.  She was also tasked with securing funding for the new initiatives and developing relationships with potential funders. During her tenure at the college, she secured over $75 Million in grants for college programs.

    Since 2011, Bo has been assisting international nonprofits and NGOs, and educational institutions in developing resources via grants from governments, private foundations and multilateral organizations as well as private donations, program income and other revenue streams via her company Linked-to-Grow. Bo is a strong believer in creative approaches to resource development, in maximizing the potential of linkages and partnerships, and focusing on documented social impact rather than perceptions.


    Bob Moyer

    Bob Moyer is a college instructor, graphic designer, and technical writer. Bob has degrees in education, business, and Civil Engineering. He has over 12 years of experience as an instructor and has developed genealogy courses for several colleges. His passion for research and family history has resulted in several genealogy-related books and speaking engagements.

    Brad Semp

    Brad Semp, Ph.D., is Director of Sales and Marketing at a global corporation, a life-long entrepreneur, and a former professor of Bachelors and Masters of Science courses in Internet Marketing. Dr. Brad is active on social media platforms to engage with prospects and customers, expand relationships, and to grow businesses. He routinely coaches other entrepreneurs and business owners and consults with Fortune 500 organizations on how to design and implement effective social media systems, strategies, and tactics.

    Brian Hall

    Brian Hall is a software architect with more than 15 years of experience building software tools in the film visual effects industry.  Over the course of his career, he has successfully led teams and mentored engineers in good software development practices.  In 2013, he received a Technical Achievement Academy Award for his work on Katana, a software tool that artists use to create visual effects for motion pictures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Biola University.

    Bryan Scyphers

    This course includes a knowledgeable and caring instructor who will guide you through your lessons, facilitate discussions, and answer your questions. The instructor for this course will be Bryan Scyphers.

    Bryan Scyphers is a Nationally Registered Paramedic who has provided emergency medical care for over 35 years. A former student trainer for Virginia Tech's football team and a trainer with the San Francisco Giants baseball organization, he is also experienced in sports medicine. Bryan holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education, has taught pre-hospital emergency medicine at the college level for many years, and has trained hundreds of Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. He has responded to over 8,000 calls for medical assistance and currently serves with the US Department of Health and Human Services' National Disaster Medical System, responding to natural and man-made disasters throughout the country. 


    Carline Dalgleish

    Carline Dalgleish has worked in healthcare administration and education for more than 30 years, starting as a file clerk in the Army/Air Force American Hospital in Nuremberg, Germany on a work-study program. She began her career on the clinical side of healthcare as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) and emergency medical technician (EMT), but she soon gravitated toward the administrative medical management side—specializing in medical billing and coding, health information management, and HIPAA. She has two bachelor's degrees and a master's degree and is a registered health information administrator (RHIA). She is an AHIMA-approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer and the author of several comprehensive ICD-10 training textbooks. She has taught a variety of healthcare administration courses and owns an education services company.

    Carolyne Call

    Carolyne Call, M.Div., Ph.D., has helped individuals navigate the difficult world of divorce for years. As a speaker, retreat leader, and counselor, she has shown that there are healthy ways to chart and move through the painful journey of divorce, empowering others to grow into healthier, more authentic (and happy!) people. Both individuals and support groups are embracing her recent book Spiritually Healthy Divorce as they seek a better way forward to life after divorce.

    Cecelia Allison

    Cecelia Allison is an experienced software tester and technical specialist with more than 15 years of hands-on experience using and teaching SQL. She is also a technical writer, a published author, and a university instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems.

    Chad Walker

    Chad Walker has been actively involved as a computer game artist, comic book illustrator, and instructor, teaching both traditional art courses and courses in 3D modeling for computer games. Chad attended the exclusive Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Arts Inc. in New Jersey. He is the conceptual designer and artist of several award-winning games, including Age Of Empires/Age Of Kings and Age of Conquerors. Chad also laid the groundwork for Microsoft's Age of Mythology, created the artwork for three strategy guides, and works with Rob Liefeld, a legendary comic artist and writer. Chad joined forces with his twin brother Eric to write the popular gaming book Game Modeling Using Low Polygon Techniques. Chad and Eric are the co-founders of Walker Boys Studio, which produced the highly acclaimed game Civil War: War Between the States.

    Chad Wambolt

    Chad Wambolt is a graduate of Boise State University, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting. He has spent his entire professional career in the finance field, working for both privately and publicly held companies with sales ranging from $500 million to $3 billion. Through the course of his career, Chad has become an expert user of Microsoft Excel. His knowledge of Excel's capabilities has helped organizations streamline processes and save countless hours of labor. Chad has taught Excel to students of varying skill levels since 1997.

    Charlene Messier

    With 12 years experience in business and 27 years teaching experience, Charlene has taught business subjects to close to 140 students per year over the course of her career. Now retired from her full-time teaching duties, Charlene continues to teach online courses, and specializes in courses in accounting, word processing, business law, business economics, and finance. 

    Cheryl Dick

    Cheryl Dick graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with a focus on early childhood education. She received a Master's Degree in elementary education from Texas-Wesleyan University and a second Master's Degree in educational administration from Lindenwood University. She currently teaches fourth grade, previously worked for six years as an instructional coach, and has a total of 19 years of teaching experience. In addition to teaching, she presents professional development seminars.

    Cheryl Simpson

    Cheryl Simpson, L.P.C., is a Career Coach and Ohio-licensed Career Counselor with more than 30 years’ journaling experience. Cheryl is the author of more than 30 articles for both print and Internet media. She also has led journaling workshops and retreats on college campuses, at conferences, in schools, and for religious organizations, and has developed more than 100 journaling exercises and prompts.

    Chris Minnick

    Chris Minnick has helped hundreds of businesses design or redesign their websites, mobile websites, and mobile apps. As the founder of Minnick Web Services, he has over 18 years of experience working with clients ranging from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 enterprises. He works with his clients to help them achieve high search engine placements by focusing on the fundamentals of great content, in-depth knowledge of the Internet, and sustained efforts over time. His company is a Google Partner, and has been managing the implementation of search engine marketing campaigns for over a decade. Chris also regularly teaches and consults on HTML5, Web application programming, and search engine optimization. He has written books on a wide range of Internet-related topics since the mid-1990s, including Beginning HTML5 and CSS3 for DummiesWebKit for DummiesCIW eCommerce Designer Certification Bible, and New Riders' XHTML. In addition to his business, writing, and training, Chris is also passionate about winemaking, swimming, playing saxophone, and cooking.     Christina Loguidice

    Christina Torster Loguidice graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She has 15 years of experience as a scientific, technical, and medical (STM) editor and writer and has overseen numerous peer-reviewed medical journals and healthcare technology magazines over her career. Christina is currently the editorial director of Annals of Long-Term Care: Clinical Care and Aging and Clinical Geriatrics. She is also a published author, including coauthor of Cancer Nutrition & Recipes For Dummies.

    Cindy Delia

    Cindy Delia is a Systems Analyst and a certified instructor. She has been working in information technology for more than 18 years and has been a technical trainer for over 6 years. As a Systems Analyst, she specializes in database management systems and develops PC applications. She has taught computer courses at the community college level and also performs corporate training. Cindy has also written technical manuals for WordPerfect.

    Curt Simmons

    Curt Simmons is a teacher and freelance writer. Curt holds a master's degree in Education and numerous technical industry certifications, and he is the author of more than 50 books on a wide variety of topics including computer training, test preparation, and public speaking. He has written custom courseware for a number of major U.S. companies as well as iPhone applications.

    Cyndie Koopsen and Caroline Young

    Cyndie Koopsen, RN, BSN, MBA, HNB-BC, RN-BC, NC-BC is a nurse who has cared for patients in acute care settings, community clinics, and the home. Her professional nursing career has involved nursing executive leadership and administration, staff development and education, community education and wellness, and holistic care. She has designed, developed, and presented numerous educational programs for audiences covering integrative health, promotion and wellness, and chronic disease management and prevention. She is the co-author of Spirituality, Health, and Healing and Integrative Health: A Holistic Approach for Health Professionals.

    Caroline Young, MPH, has an extensive public health background that includes experience in research, workshop presentations in various areas of health care, and online and onsite teaching. She has expertise in holistic community health and wellness program design, development, marketing, implementation, and evaluation. She has also designed, developed, and presented integrative health programs for culturally diverse populations, senior populations, and faith communities. She is the co-author of Spirituality, Health, and Healing and Integrative Health: A Holistic Approach for Health Professionals.

    Dan Mikels is a college instructor who has been teaching Spanish for more than 20 years. He holds a Master's degree and has authored and coauthored more than 20 educational products, including Speed Spanish, Fast French, and a variety of reading programs.

    Dave Paquin

    With a Master of Science degree in Training and Learning Technology, and extensive experience as a Human Resources Manager, Dave Paquin has been training, coaching and managing sales personnel for more than ten years.

    David Iseminger

    David Iseminger is a computer and networking expert and an experienced teacher of networking topics. As a student first and expert second, Iseminger knows which teaching approaches are most effective. Iseminger has worked at Microsoft Corporation as a telecommunications specialist, networking performance analyst, and lead programming writer for cutting-edge network disciplines, including emerging wireless technologies. Iseminger has published 12 computer books with various publishers, including John Wiley & Sons, Macmillan, Microsoft Press, and one ...for Dummies book. His formal education is from the University of Washington where he earned degrees in English and Comparative Literature with a minor in writing. Iseminger earned his MCSE certification in under a month.

    David Karlins

    David Karlins is the author of more than a dozen books on Web design that have sold over a million copies worldwide, including HTML5 for CSS3 for Dummies. His articles have appeared in publications ranging from Macworld to Business Week. He has taught Web, graphic, and interactive design at San Francisco State University's Multimedia Studies Program and the University of California, Berkeley, Extension division. His Web design and consulting clients have ranged from Hewlett Packard to the Himalayan Fair.

    David Paquin

    Dave Paquin has been teaching computer skills in the classroom for over 15 years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Training and Learning Technology and has extensive experience as a Human Resources manager.

    Dawn Lianna

    Dawn Lianna, who holds a Master's degree in counseling and psychology, teaches communication, stress management, natural health, and therapy skills to capacity audiences. A seasoned writer, teacher, and counselor, Lianna is known for her humanitarian style, quick wit, motivational skills and warmth.

    Dawn Simmons

    Dawn Simmons is a private caterer who has provided a number of catering services for individuals and businesses. Before starting her own home-based catering business, Dawn worked for various restaurants and worked as a caterer for a major hotel chain. Dawn is skilled at presenting great food with flair, and eagerly shares the tricks of her trade with her students. Take her course, and you too will know how to create food that looks as good as it tastes.

    Debbie Mahler

    Debbie Mahler teaches students at the college and university level on a wide range of business-related topics, worked for nearly 15 years in the PC repair business, has a successful online IT business, has written six books, and writes for several newsletters and other publications. Long before PC security was a front-page topic, Debbie Mahler was reporting on, and educating the public about, viruses and other security threats. It was this early groundwork that earned her the title of Symantec Software Partner and Security Specialist. Debbie holds a B.A. in Applied Behavioral Psychology with graduate work in Organizational Psychology and Computer Information Systems. She was a presidential scholar and graduated with high academic honors including Phi Theta Kappa.

    Denise Hopkins

    Denise Hopkins graduated from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters in Human Relations.   She has taught classes in the Sociology of Sexuality and Marriage, as well as the Sociology of Men and Women, but her favorites have been the Childbirth Preparation classes she has taught for more than 10 years.  Denise has volunteered as a birth doula and continues to help expectant parents prepare physically, emotionally, and financially for the changes pregnancy and a baby will bring.

    Diane Larsen-Freeman

    Diane Larsen-Freeman is a Professor of Education, Professor of Linguistics, and Research Scientist at the English Language Institute at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is also Distinguished Senior Faculty Fellow at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. She has spoken and published widely on the topics of teacher education, second language acquisition, English grammar, and language teaching methodology. In 1997, Dr. Larsen-Freeman was inducted into the Vermont Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 1999, she was named one of the ESL pioneers by ESL Magazine. In 2000, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Heinle Publishers.

    Donna Acosta

    Donna Acosta, RD, is a registered dietitian and nutrition educator. Her clinical expertise is in weight management, diabetes nutrition care, and cardiac rehabilitation management. Donna also has many years' experience teaching cooking classes, which reflects her passion for eating healthfully—and enjoying every bite!     Douglas Best

    Douglas Best first began working as a field medical instructor in the US Army at Fort Sam Houston, Texas in 1980. He has worked as a nurse in such medical specialty areas as Pediatrics, Newborn Intensive Care, Home Health, adult cardiac, surgical and medical intensive care units, the emergency room, heart catheterization, burn intensive care and the morgue. He has been a CPR instructor, EMT, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Advanced Life Support certified. He is also a curriculum specialist and has developed such workforce training programs as Medical Specialty Training for displaced workers, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant in Spanish, and Medical Transcription for the University of Texas at Brownsville. He has also overseen research projects in the development of nurses from Mexico and Sri Lanka. He currently is a trainer working with Humana Military.

    Dr. Bonnie Eaker Weil

    Dr. Bonnie Eaker Weil has over 25 years of experience as a counselor and therapist, and specializes in issues related to dating, marriage, divorce, and infidelity. She has appeared on The Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, and Good Morning America.     Dr. Tom Scovel

    Dr. Tom Scovel is a professor at San Francisco State University, where he teaches courses as diverse as ESL Grammar and Psycholinguistics. Scovel was born and raised in China and attended high school in India before going to the United States for his university education. His research and teaching interests focus largely on language pedagogy, psycholinguistics, and second language acquisition, and he has published and spoken widely in these areas, including the text Learning New Languages by Heinle.     Dr. Edward Lavieri is an active educational game design researcher with a special interest in adaptive learning.     Holly Trimble

    Holly Trimble has a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in pediatric physical therapy from Boston University. She completed an additional 15 credit hours in education at the doctoral level. She taught math and science to sixth-graders for several years at a private school, and also worked as a private tutor for children with learning disabilities. She has lectured on health-related topics to all age groups, from school-age children to adults, and is now an adjunct professor, teaching college-level anatomy and physiology.     Jennifer Carmean has been involved in the Deaf community since 1982. During that time she has worked with Deaf people as a counselor and taught American Sign Language.  She has experience writing curriculum and developing sign language degrees for community colleges. She's a member of the American Sign Language Teacher's Association and the National Association of the Deaf. She has a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with the Deaf and a professional certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.     Joanna Sandsmark graduated with honors from The University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Communication Arts: Radio/TV/Film.     John Agress has been active in the computer world since the 1980s and has been developing and designing websites for more than a decade. He was among the first designers to recognize that WordPress, which was originally created as blogging software, can also produce content management websites that can be updated as easily as sending an email.     Katie Powell-Lee

    Katie Powell-Lee received a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. She has worked as a landscape designer for a range of projects from community parks in urban areas to wetland development. She has also been a professional gardener tending to spaces ranging from formal city gardens to sprawling estates with woodlands and meadows. In addition, Katie volunteers as a garden educator teaching edible gardening to children at an urban learning farm.     Ken Cook

    Ken Cook has built and managed a successful computer consulting business (now called Cook Software Solutions, LLC) since 1990. He began as a trainer specializing in Microsoft Office and has helped numerous users (too many to count!) master a variety of software packages.     Laureen Reynolds is a former classroom teacher and a best-selling author of books for teachers.     LeeAnne Krusemark

    LeeAnne Krusemark is a journalist, published author, successful business owner, and adjunct professor. LeeAnne began her career in journalism, working as a reporter, then editor, then managing editor for various newspapers in New York and California. She started a successful writing/public relations business in 1988, and has served as Chamber of Commerce president. She is the published author of countless newspaper and magazine articles and two non-fiction books. LeeAnne also spends time guest lecturing about business and writing at a number of colleges, including Purdue and Kent State University.

    Lewis Weinberg

    Lewis Weinberg is an independent filmmaker and professional videographer. His movies have been showcased at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and screened at the Ann Arbor, Athens, Chicago Underground, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis International Film Festivals. While working as the Media Technology Specialist for Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota, Lewis gave regular training and workshops on Final Cut Pro. Before that, he spent 15 years in the Motion Picture Industry in Los Angeles, working for companies such as Disney, Warners, Polygram, and Samuel Goldwyn.


    Linda Aksomitis

    Linda Aksomitis has a master's degree in adult vocational/technical education, with a minor in English. She has published 25 books for readers of all ages (fiction and nonfiction), including numerous e-books, and she has a few thousand publications in newspapers, magazines, and on the Internet. She's been an acquisitions editor for an e-publisher, Webmaster of half a dozen websites, managing editor and Webmaster for an Internet magazine, and she maintains two active blogs.     Linda Kissam

    Linda Kissam is an eighteen-year veteran in the nonprofit management field. She has managed both 501 (c)(3) and 501 (c)(6) organizations and currently owns her own consulting company. She has taught both in the public and private sectors. A seasoned wine and hospitality industry veteran, Linda consults with local wineries on media attraction and food and wine events.     Neal Bevans is a former Assistant District Attorney. A veteran of over 150 trials, Bevans has tried every major felony from rape, murder, and narcotics to armed robbery. One of his cases was televised nationally on Court TV. He has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia (Order of the Barrister) and has been a college instructor for over 10 years.     Neil Anderson

    Dr. Neil J Anderson is a Professor of Linguistics and English Language at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. He also serves as the Coordinator of the English Language Center. He teaches courses in the TESOL Master’s program as well as language classes to second language learners. His research interests include second language reading, language learner strategies, and English Language Teaching leadership development. Professor Anderson has taught and presented papers and workshops in over 25 countries.     Patricia Addesso has worked for over 20 years in retail, academic and telecommunications organizations. She has studied Spanish at the Universidad de Ortega y Gasset in Toledo, Spain and has lived and traveled extensively in Spain and Latin America.

    An award-winning artist, Teri King began her formal study of art at the Witte Museum in San Antonio, Texas when she was just 3 years old. She currently works in several different mediums, including ceramics, oil painting, and precious metal clay. Teri's ceramic and jewelry pieces are in private collections around the world, and she has received acclaim for her interior design work.     William Rabkin is a veteran writer/producer whose 300-plus hours of produced television include Monk, Psych, and The Glades. He has served as "showrunner" on Diagnosis Murder, Martial Law, and She-Wolf of London, and has written a dozen network pilots.
