Assessment type: 

You will learn a variety of things, through a combination of reading, interacting with tutors, undertaking research and watching videos. 

Each lesson culminates in an assignment which is submitted to the school, marked by the school's tutors and returned to you with any relevant suggestions, comments, and if necessary, extra reading. 

Work experience:

  2. Define anxiety and panic disorder. 
  3. Describe the development of an anxiety management plan.
  4. Describe appropriate ways to manage symptoms of social anxiety disorder. 
  5. Describe appropriate ways to manage symptoms of generalised anxiety disorder. 
  6. Describe appropriate ways to manage symptoms of panic disorder and agoraphobia. 
  7. Describe methods of managing the environment to reduce anxiety and panic. 
  8. Apply alternative techniques to reduce anxiety and panic. 9. Describe treatments for anxiety and/or panic disorder based upon a relevant signs, symptoms, and experiences. 
  9. Explain the nature of anxiety and panic disorders and propose a planned response for management.
